4.How does teeth whitening remove stains...

As the active ingredient in the gel (carbamide peroxide/hydrogen peroxide)is broken down, the LED light and the natural warmth of the mouth acts upon the stained organic deposits, which oxidizes them into a whiter color. This process makes the overall tooth color closer to it's natural unstained color.Years of clinical tests have demonstrated the safety and effectiveness of this system.Over 90% of people treated acheive some level of tooth whitening.Crowns, bridges and fillings will not lighten during the whitening session. However, any stains will be lifted taking the artificial tooth closer to it's original color

5.Is this whitening process permanent...

For most people the treatment will last for many years.Your teeth have become stained in the first place from consuming foods and beverages.Upon the completion of your initial whitening session, your teeth are restored closer to their natural white color.Exposure to foods, drinks(especially coffee, colas and red wines),smoking and other consumables will gradually darken teeth again over time. You may want to periodically whiten your teeth. After an initial session, most people do a touchup session about once every 6 months.Proper oral hygiene and use of a teeth whitening maintenance product will greatly help to extend the results of a whitening session
